Last week I took part guiding journalists come from the Southest of Brazil and two of the biggest tour operator specialized in Aventure Tourism the Webventure and Free Way. Took part of the press trip Jornal do Comércio, Correio Braziliense, Folha from São Paulo and Diario, Revista de Bordo da Gol, beyond, Natal online, and Guia Natal, by Zé Maria. Beyond some agencies from Natal.
The Press Trip was organized by EMPROTUR and Vitória Regia Tour Agency. Press trip passed by Lagoa Nova, (Chalés dos Cajueiros) Currais Novos (Bella Vista Inn) , Acari and finish in Carnaúba dos Dantas. They overnighted in Currais Novos and on Thursday they went to Galinhos beach.
Basically the most activities in Currais Novos was visiting one of the biggest Tungstein (Wolfran) mine of the world, the biggest one in Latin America, afterwards they went to Acari where they hiked until the top of mountain and they did a rappel, of course I didn't. Finally they went to see a famous Sunset with the Sax sonfone, but unfortunately rained. However they decided to see one the most beautiful rock art painting shelter, the Xique-Xique I.
So, at the end of the trip, the group was received by the mayor of the City, Alexandre receptioned the group with Fanfare group that present a great perfomance enchanted the Journalist with the regional music. At the conclusion, this is a region where I live, a beautiful place, sometimes difficult due the harsh drought, sometimes wonderful.
