Carnaúba dos Dantas is a small, touristic and archaeological town. Surrounded by mountaing hiding mysteries that in recent years has been attracted tourists and archaeologists from all over the world in order to research the high numbers of shelters with rock arts and engravings in low relief (Petroglyphs) most are unrecognisables figures caves on the rock walls. We set-off at 1:05 p:m to Furna do Messias where the Caantinga's Adventure Júlio, Saulo, Dean and me (Carlos Sertão). We went to one of the most relevant archaeological site with rock art paintings belongs to Northeast Tradition, ´Seridó's sub tradition. They are very similar to Serra da Capivara's style, in São Raimundo Nonato, Piauí State.
